“Reading is essential for those who seek to rise above the ordinary.”
– Jim Rohn
Books are unlike any other form of entertainment or knowledge. It is physical, it is tangible and they hold people accountable to the words they share with the world. Once published, there is no opportunity to edit, retract or delete the words an author chose to use - it is printed, it is permanent, it holds the author's credibility up for scrutiny.
The words within physical pages always hold more weight. You know the authors spent days, months and sometimes years before finally sending their work to publishers in hopes someone will recognise the value of their words to be published.
Why do you think Universities still rely heavily on books on top of other resources? There simply isn't a more valuable and effective way to disseminate substantial knowledge and information credibly then through published books.
Of course, you might still need a teacher or coach to compliment your learning journey, but there's no better start to learning like reading to begin your transformation.
